The Maxwell HRC10-8 Horizontal Windlass is a fully automatic, horizontal low-profile (without capstan) rope / chain windlass designed for larger vessels requiring above-deck installations.

Features:

• Cone-type clutch / brake mechanism allows for manual, freefall anchoring and emergency crank recovery of the rode and anchor if required
• Heavy duty dual-direction motor and drive enclosed in two-part watertight case for easy on-deck access and routine maintenance
• Case made of die cast, marine-grade anodized aluminum front section and easily removable composite motor cover aft
• Simple bolt-down installation allows for easy on-deck installation and set-up
• Innovative, patented Wave Design™ chainwheel provides outstanding holding power with less wear and tear on anchor line
